Description

Pre-Invitation Notice - The contractor is to remove and replace a large section of asphalt shingles, replace sections of metal gutter, remove components of an abandoneded icemelt system, and re-flash gutter drains. The contractor is to provide all management, supervision, labor, tools and supplies as required to complete the project as stated in the approved plans and specifications that will be sent with the bid package. Estimate cost:$35,000 to $55,000. Work is to be completed 60 days from the date of the award. Respond by email to cynthia.tabor@gsa.gov with the company name, company contact person, company address and phone number, fax number and DUNS number, if you are interested in bidding this project, NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM, November 10, 2005. Bid packages will be mailed at that time. According to FAR 4.11 all contractors shall be registered in Central Contractor Registration [CCR] before GSA can make an award. According to FAR 4.12 all contractors shall be registered in Online Representations and Certifications [ORCA] before an award can be made. THIS REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE AN AWARD. GSA requires 60 days for bid approval.
