CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: Department of the Navy, Military Sealift Command, Pacific, 140 Sylvester Rd. Naval Base Point Loma, Bldg. 139 3rd Floor, San Diego, CA 92106-3521 DESCRIPTION: Regular Overhaul (ROH) for the USNS NAVAJO (T-ATF 169). The period of Performance for this requirement is to start 6 February 2006 2005 and end 22 March 2006. The area of consideration is CONUS West Coast. Major work items include: Vessel dry-docking; Tank Cleaning & Gas Freeing; Lining System Ballast Tanks #8, #6P & #5; Non-skid; Habitability (01 & 02 Decks Tile Replacement ); Ship Service Generator #3 OH and Main Engines Overhaul. This is for full and open competition of MSRA yards. Only written (fax, email, or regular mail) requests will be accepted. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 4 October 2005.
