- Description
- This procurement will be full and open competition for the M14 Gas-Particulate Filter Unit (GPFU), NSN: 4240-00-010-5267, Part Number: 5-19-1828. The item is a 12 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) six-man armored ambulance gas-particulate filter unit conta ining but not limited to an M2A2 air purifier PN: 5-19-1772, various air hose assemblies PNs: 5-66-269, 5-66-230, 5-19-1820-1 and 5-19-1820-2, six M13A1 hospital collective protector headpieces with carriers PN: 5-70-23, spring assembly PN: 5-19-1662, and an installation kit PN: 5-19-1819. Award of a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract is anticipated. Estimated award periods will be from award date through 31 DEC 2010. A guaranteed minimum quantity will be stated in the solicitation. The estimated quantity over the 5-year period is 227 each. The maximum quantity that the government is entitled to order over the lifetime of the contract is 2,000 each. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 10 November 2005. FIRST ARTICLE TESTIN G (FAT) will be required. Government Furnished Material: M13A1 Hospital Headpiece, M13 Filter, and M12A2 Gas Filter. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the in ternet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time s et for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria. army.mil.
