Description
The Solicitation number for this effort is hereby changed from W15P7T-05-R-N018 to W15P7T-06-R-N018. The Government intends to Award a Sole Source Contract for Enhanced Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS) Systems Engineering and Integration Su pport, Logistical and Field Support and Post Deployment Software Support to the Raytheon Company, located at, 1801 W. Hughes Drive, Fullerton, CA 92833-2200. The planned acquisition is for a new five-year Requirements type contract, on a Time and Mater ial (T&M) basis, for engineering services, to include technical integration, logistics and post deployment software support (PDSS), for the Enhanced Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS). The EPLRS is a tactical data radio system that is currently in production and is managed by Project Manager Tactical Radio Communications Systems (PM TRCS). The contractor is expected to provide field service support and engineering services. Field service support services will be required at state side locations and possibly at locations around the world, to include training, providing Field Service Represent atives (FSRs), maintenance screeners and troubleshooters, as well as maintenance turn-in points. The engineering services include changes to technical manuals and training manual changes, hardware and software support. The Government anticipates award in D ecember 2005. FedbizOpps Numbered Note 22 applies. The Government conducted market Research in September 2005 and determined that Raytheon is the only source that possesses the capability and knowledge required to satisfy the governments requirements. The Communications-electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC)has established the Army single Face to Industry Website to allow the electronic submittal of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs) and Invitation for bids (IFBs) from C -E LCMC to Industry. All parties interested in doing business with C-E LCMC are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the BOP at (http://abop.monmouth.army.mil) Upon accessing this webpage, click on User Registration under the Use r Services block to begin. Registration for User ID and Password will only be necessary when you are considering the submission of C-E LCMC proposals through the BOP.
