- Madigan Army Medical Center intends to award a sole source contract to ABIOMED, Danver MA for a blood pump set. The surgeon has selected this cardiac ventricular assist device for a surgical procedure that needs to be performed at Madigan Army Medica l Center. The proposed contract action is for supplies which the governement intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A solicitation will not be issued. See Note 22.
