Description

This is a modification issued for RFP SP4400-05-R-0021. This solicitation issued is hereby rescinded and reassigned to read: RFP SP4400-06-R-0008, due to non-issuance of RFP for FY 2005 on or around October 21, 2005. The rescheduled issue date will be on or around November 8, 2005 for FY 2006 funding. All services in previous announcement remains unchanged. RFP SP4400-06-R-0008 issuance for disposal, transportation, and non-personal management services at DRMOs Offutt, NB/Riley, KS and surrounding locations remains unchanged. This reprocurement will be a firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract, solicited unrestricted to all offerors. Anticipation for closing of this reassigned numbered RFP will close on or around December 9, 2005. Please review the Statement of Work (SOW), Section C thoroughly for instructions on performance and requirements. The solicitation will be posted on the World Wide Web @ www.drms.dla.mil. Anticipation for this reprocurement will be awarded to a single potential offeror that initiates 'best value' to the Government. The contract will have an 18-month Base Period and two (2) 18-month Option Periods. Performance will also be requested by issuance of written delivery orders against the contract periods. Prospective contractors and subcontractors must be able to meet the Federal, State, and local ordinances and regulations governing the handling, disposal, and transporting of hazardous waste material and environmental protection and concerns.
