Description
Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code if 562111 and size standard is not to exceed $10.5M. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Veterinary Services Laboratories. Requirements: Provide collection equipment as specified, truck and labor required to remove garbage and brush at the National Veterinary Services Laboratories, 1800 Dayton Ave, Ames, IA 50010, and the NVSL/CVB Training Center at 2825 E. 13th Street, Ames, IA 50010. Collection is to be made between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm for the period of 10/01/05 through 9/30/06. Equipment to be provided is to include two (2) residential garbage containers on wheels at the Training Center, to be emptied 3 times per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) one (1) 4 cy compactor at the back door the NVSL Central to be emptied 3 times per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) four (4) 6 cy containers, one each at Building A-5, the MB Building, Building 21 and the Digester, each to be emptied once per week (Friday), one (1), 2 cy container at the Support Building, to be emptied once per month, with the first pickup of the month, or as requested, one (1) 20 cy roll-off container, and one (1) 40 cy roll-off container. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full test.
