Description

The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, Georgia intends to solicit bids in response to Invitations for Bids (IFB) W911SE-06-B-0002, for Solid Waste Collection and Disposal sevices. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material s, supplies, equipment, transportation vehicles, fuel, and supervision necessary to provide refuse collection and disposal services for Fort Gordon, Fort Gordon Recreation Area (Points West) and all Army Housing Areas in accordance with specifications, con ditions and attachments, except as specified as Government furnished. This is a follow-on requirement and the incumbent is Commercial Trash Removal Inc., a small business concern. Fort Gordon is located in Augusta, Georgia and covers approximately 55,857 acres. The population of Fort Gordon is approximately 9700 personnel, consisting of permanent party personnel, federal civilian employees and contractor employees. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 56 2111; small business size standard is $10.5 million. The Government intends to solicit this acquisition as a Competitive HUBZone Set-Aside IAW FAR 19.1305, and shall result in a Firm- fixed- price contract with an economic price adjustment for landfill ti pping fees. Period of Performance consists of an eight month base period starting 01 January 2006 plus four one-year option periods. The anticipated solicitation release date will be on or about 10 November 2005. IFBs will be due on or about 09 December 2 005, 12:00 p.m. EST.
