- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number, W44W9M-06-T-0022 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06, Se p 30 , 2005. The acquisition is unrestricted. The associated SIC code is 2899, NAICS code is 325188, and size standard is 500. Requirements: Contract shall provide the United States Army's McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, OK has a requirement for: Chemical, Fir e Proofing, used for exterior protective fire proofing explosive ordance items, IAW Fed STD 595 No. 36375, Ghost Gray FMA260. Material must include Thixotrope. Certifacate of Conformance Required. A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for a period of 3 years will be awarded as a result of this request. The BPA will establish a unit price for awarded quantites. Product is to be deliivered to: McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, Bldg 8, 1 C Tree Road, McAlester OK, 74501. No telephone requests will be accepted. FAR provisions and clauses cited in this solicitation may be accessed through the internet at http://www.arnet.gov/far/. Offerors are directed to the solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offe rors--Commercial Items (JAN 2004), which applies to this acquisition and is hereby incorporated by reference. Offerors are remi nded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (JAN 2004) with their offer. Applying the provision at FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government will award a contrac t resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantage ous to the Government, price and other factor s considered. The clause 52.212 -4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial It ems (OCT 2003), is hereby incorporated by reference.
