Description: The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, tools, parts, equipment, transportation and incidentals needed for upgrading an orientation kiosk at the Lost Trail National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) near Marion Montana. The kiosk will include one 6'x 3' interpretive panel and two 3' x 4' interpretive panels. The 6' x 3' panel will be placed in the center of the kiosk, with the 3' x 4' panels placed on each side of the center panel. The work required for this project will consist of the following: (1) Design and fabrication of one 6' x 3' interpretive panel orienting visitors to the Refuge using a ?" high pressure laminate (exterior grade) material, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract specifications. (2) Design and fabrication of two 3' x 4' interpretive panels using a ?" inch high pressure laminate (exterior grade) material, in accordance with the specifications. (3) Provide installation instructions for the interpretive panels, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract specifications. A Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued on/or about November 9, 2005, with a closing date on or about November 22, 2005. The RFQ will be available through the Government wide Point of Entry (GPE) (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). Parties accessing the RFQ through the GPE shall submit their quote through the GPE. Please note that drawings and specifications will also be posted with the RFQ as a PDF file and will be available for download from the GPE. Parties that are unable to access the GPE, shall fax a request for the RFQ package to (303) 236-4791, attention: Mr. Derek C. Reed, Contracting Officer. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 541310 and the Small Business Size Standard is $4M. Please include the RFQ number, your company name, address, telephone number, point of contact name, and fax number. This acquisition is open to both large and small business. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Effective October 1, 2003, all contractors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website as an active vendor in order to be eligible for award. The type of acquisition itself will be a Best Value Type where the Government will make purchase order award by considering an offerors past performance.
