BAA N61339-06-R-0001 SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL SUPERCEDED OR EXPIRED. US Army PEO STRI on behalf of the Joint Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) COLab issues this Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) under the provisions of paragraphs 35.016 and 6.102(d)(2) of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), which provides for the competitive selection of research proposals. Contract(s) based on responses to this BAA are in full compliance with the provisions of PL 98-369, "The Competition in Contracting Act of 1984." US Army PEO STRI through NAVAIR Orlando Training Systems Division, contracts with educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and private industry for research and development (R&D) in those areas covered in Section 2.0 of this BAA. The BAA is general in nature and identifies current and developmental areas of research of particular interest to th Joint ADL CoLab to include: 1. Architecture Interoperability; 2. Architecture Analysis; 3.Joint Training interoperability; 4. Learning System and Training System Interoperability; 5 Team Training; 6. Standards-Based Learner Tracking; 7. Learner Profile Management; 8. Sharable State Persistence; 9. Interoperability with Service Personnel Systems; 10. Assessment Data Models; 11. Competency Definition Management; 12. Advanced Content Management; 13. Metadata Registries; 14. Content Repositories; 15. Knowledge Management Capabilities; 16. Language and Culture Training; 17. Joint ADL 2012 Integrated Prototype Architecture (IPA). The research areas of interest are not in any order of preference. Awards resulting from BAA N61339-06-R-0001 will take the form of a contract.
