- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing intends to purchase five thousand (5000) BLADES, DRY, THIN .010? THICK X 2? WIDE 32 13/16 (=.000? - 1/32?) LONG UHB BLUE POLISH SPRING STEEL HARDENED AND TEMPERED WITH FULL RADIUSES EDGE TO BE FREE OF NICKS AND BURRS, EDGE TO BE STRAIGHT WITHIN .005? OVER ENTIRE BLADE USED ON I-10 PRESS. These blades will be purchased from Indusrial Knife Co. on a sole source basis. No other offers will be accepted at this time. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation. A written Request for Quotation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. Place of delivery is Bureau of Engraving and Printing, 9000 Blue Mound Rd., Fort Worth, TX 76137. Delivery and acceptance is FOB Destination. The provision of 52.212-1, Instruction to Offers - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this procurement. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR 12 and 13 shall be used.
