- Description
- The U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service (USCIS) is seeking vendors interested in providing use of convention center facilities for the purpose of holding multiple Naturalization Ceremonies in Philadelphia, PA for the period of 10/01/2005 through 09/30/2006. An acceptable facility shall be located within Philadelphia, and accommodate approximately 3,050 people. Of the total occupancy, approximately 1,500 will be participants, a small number will be officials and the remainder, audience. An acceptable facility shall include an auditorium, stage with podium and stage seating for officials, a registration area, and audiovisual connections and screens to project videos or DVDs. In addition to the rental of the facility itself, the rental shall include chairs & tables, easels, stanchions, ropes, use of USA & FL flags, lectern, draperies, traffic officer, security guards, electricity, and custodial services. Only handicapped accessible facilities can be considered. The facility must be accessible by public transportation and have public parking available. Audiovisual requirements may be contracted separately and include microphone, CD player, 2 15?x 20? screens, 2 LCD projectors, DVD player, confidence monitor, and a lighting package appropriate for the event with dimming and general stage wash lighting.
