Description

The Government intends to award a sole source purchase order to Cardio Logic, Inc. for a National Imagery Transfer Format (NITF) module compatible with current Environment for Visualizing Images (ENVI)/Mojave software suite currently used by the 9th Intelligence Squadron, Beale Air Force Base, California. The 9th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Cardio Logic, Inc. is the software writer of the currently used software by the 9th Intelligence Squadron, and this software upgrade will provide additional capabilities to this product. The software upgrade will be used to fulfill a sustained role to the 9th Intelligence Squadron?s Mission. Without this upgrade, the 9th Intelligence Squadron cannot meet timelines for digital imagery dissemination. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The procurement of the Cardio Logic Software Upgrade must be completed in a timely manner in order to meet mission requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210. The small business standard is $21 Million.
