- The USAF will issue an RFP for the repair of augmentor items. The contractor will furnish all required labor, direct material, parts, facilities, test equipment and services to accomplish repair/overhaul/remanufacture and modification, test, packaging, preservation and return of each item in completely serviceable condition. The solicitation will be posted to the FEDBIZOPS website. A firm-fixed price, Requirements contract with a one-year basic and 4 one-year option ordering periods will be issued. Item 1: Convergent Seal Assembly Liner, applicable to the F100PW200/220/220E/229 engine; Output NSN: 2840-01-180-2935NZ; P/N: 4060955. Predominant material: Nickel-base alloy; Size/Dimensions: 20.6'' inches long x 6.5" inches width x .5'' inches height (thickness); Form/Fit/Function: Convergent seals, together with balance and divergent segments and seals, form the nozzle throat area of the augmentor.. Delivery: As specified in each individual order. Estimated quantities: 35 each Basic year and each Option year. Government?s Delivery Schedule: 3 each per month. Item 2: External segment applicable to the F100PW200/220/220E/229 engine; Output NSN: 2840-01-290-3233NZ; P/N: 4059480. Predominant material: Titanium . Size/Dimensions: 24'' inches long X 8'' inches wide X .5 " inches height. Form/Fit/Function: To streamline airflow on the outside of the augmentor nozzle. Delivery : As specified in each individual order. Estimated quantities: FMS quantity only. 15 each Basic year and each Option year. Government?s Delivery Schedule: 2 each per month. Item 3: External segment applicable to the F100PW200/220/220E/229 engine; Output NSN: 2840-01-290-3233NZ; P/N: 4059480. Predominant material: Titanium. Size/Dimensions: 24'' inches long X 8'' inches wide X 1" height(thickness). Form/Fit/Function: To streamline airflow on the outside of the augmentor nozzle. Delivery : As specified in each individual order. Estimated quantities: US quantity only. 300* each Basic year and each Option year. *ESTIMATED OFFLOAD per YEAR. Government?s Delivery Schedule: 100 each per month should an order be placed. Anticipated solicitation issue date: 15NOV05. Anticipated award date: 14JAN06. NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program manager or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
