- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside 100% for Small Businesses. NAICS: 541512 SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $21,000,000.00 The purchase of: 7 Each - SolidWorks Office Professional 2005 Network with Subscription; 2 Each - SolidWorks Office Premium 2005 Network with Subscription; 1 - Each - SolidWorks PDM Implementation Service (on-site at Robins AFB); 9 Each (meaning instruction for 9 individuals) - SolidWorks PDM Training (on-site at Robins AFB); 9 Each - SolidWorks 4-Day Basic Training (on-site at Robins AFB, vendor provides all necessary hardware); 9 Each - SolidWorks 4-Day Advanced Training (on-site at Robins AFB, vendor provides all necessary hardware). Quotes are preferred for the SolidWorks software; quotes for ?equal? products will NOT be considered. Prices should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). Request delivery date is 30 days ARO. Mfr: SolidWorks. Justification for Brand Name Only: Besides SolidWorks, no other known sources provide the required technical features. Currently, 13 seats of SolidWorks software are already being used. Seven additional seats of this software are needed to supplement what is currently being used, in order to meet increased workload requirements. The same type of software is required for compatibility issues with the existing SolidWorks software and to maintain the level of interoperability that currently exists with the other software systems being used in-house. The following clauses (current through FAC 2005-06, and DFARS Change Notice 20050930) are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items; and 52-212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items; DFARS 252.212-7000, and DFARS 252.211-7003 (Item Identification and Valuation) In accordance with Clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be price and price related factors. IAW FAR 52.212-3, Reps/Certs should be completed on-line at www.bpn.gov. Oral procedures will be used for this solicitation.
