Description

Requirements type contract for meals, lodging and transportation for applicants processing through the Fargo Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) during the base period of 1 Feb 2006 through 31 Jan 2007 with four option periods. Services are f or a supper meal, overnight lodging, breakfast the next morning and transportation to the MEPS. It is estimated that there will be 12,000 applicants processing yearly. The number of applicants daily will possibly reach 75 maximum, but average 12 applicants daily. This contract will be awarded on a Best Value basis using the tradeoff source selection process. The appropriate NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard of $6M. All responsible sources may submit a proposal(s), which will be considered. The solic itation will be posted on the Fort Knox hompage website at: http://doc.knox.army.mil on or about 26 Oct 05. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to this website. Contractors are cau tioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled. Contractor is responsible for all costs of producing and mailing their proposal. Proposal must be written and submitted in original plus four copies and mailed to D irectorate of Contracting, Bldg 1109B, Rm 250, Fort Knox, KY 40121-5000. Please mark outside of package with solicitation number and opening date as stated in the solicitation in Block 8. Proposal will not be accepted by email or facsimile.
