Description
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is seeking sources that can provide comprehensive support for the scientific, management, administrative, and technical activities of the Division of Intramural Research (DIR) and the Vaccine Research Center (VRC). Under this requirement the contractor shall: A). Provide qualified and experienced personnel to support a full range of activities, including new and in process projects, program deployment and implementation, on-going management and operations, administrative and financial support, and any other activities necessary to the conduct of NIAID business. Functional areas include, but are not limited to, scientific research and analysis, finance and accounting, administrative and executive staff assistance, scientific and technical writing, scientific and technical domain expertise, scientific programming and computational science, information systems support, technology specialties, and program management. B). Communicate findings, status, progress, issues, and other information as directed to all appropriate levels of management, personnel, subcontractors, project and contract officers, and other designated NIAID representatives. C). Develop and apply professional best practices and knowledge of applicable Government, NIH, and NIAID regulations, policies, and standards. D). Develop and apply expertise in all information systems and other technologies necessary for the conduct of work requirements. E). Draft and produce reports, briefings, and other deliverables as directed by the Project Officer or other designated NIAID official. Any potential contractors should respond with a capability statement by August 31, 2005 at 2:00pm EDT. Capability statements must reference similar work that has been performed by the contractor and the dollar value of that work. Potential offerors must indicate business size in their capability statement. This is a market survey, not a request for proposals.
