- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration intends to award a Purchase Order on a non-competitive, sole source basis purchase to Waters Corporation, 34 Maple Street, Milford, MA 01757 for renewal of annual maintenance services for Waters HPLC Systems. Waters Corporation shall provide maintenance services on Part No. 74000810, Waters Software Premier Plan Personal, Part No. TAP603779, TAP 2690/2695 system (1PM), Part No. 603618, Tap 717 injector (1PM); and Part No. 602186, Tap 7600 Fluidics (1PM). Waters is the sole manufacturer and the only distributor for the necessary parts. NO REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of providing the required services as stated herein may submit a capability statement to document its ability to provide the required services, which will be considered if received by the seventh (7) calendar day following the appearance of this announcement. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government and any award decision will be made on a best value basis. All responses or questions regarding this posting must be in writing and can be sent via email to patricia.wright@fda.gov. No phone calls will be accepted. An award will be made immediately after the response date of this notice. This sole source procurement will be awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5.
