- *****The Solicitation issue date is changed from on or about 18 October 2005 to on or about 4 November 2005***** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting environmental services firms to respond to this solicitation for a contract entitled (DAMOS) Dredged Material Management Program, Various Locations throughout New England and North Atlantic Division Geographic al Boundaries. This will be an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity firm fixed price contract. The offeror will be evaluated on professional capabilities, previous experience with regard to the identification of scientific problems and approach to oce anographic data collection and analysis, environmental impact assessment ability and experience as it can be related to dredging and disposal issues. This will be a contract with a maximum $1,250,000.00 million dollar base period limit with four $1.25 mil lion dollar option periods. A minimum of $25,000.00 for the base period and $12,500.00 per option period is guaranteed. Oral presentations as well as written proposals will be included in this RFP. Solicitation shall be made available via the Internet o n or about November 4, 2005. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 541690. The Government may make award of a conforming proposal without discussions, if deemed to be within the best interests of the Governm ent. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. No paper copies of the solicitation or amendments will be available. The firms interested must register to receive the solicitation. Registration instructions are available on the internet at http://www.nae.usace.army.mil as well as the media by which the solicitation will be made available. Amendments, if any, to this solicitation will be made available at this internet site. Neither telephonic, mailed, nor fax requests will be accepted. Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the New England District.
