Description
A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are adequate HubZone; 8(a) or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Contractors for performance of Construction Engineering Services for US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) facilities in t he Continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. The primary services required are quality assurance services for routine operation and maintenance, and for repair, renovation, and minor construction projects at existing medical facilities, where Government personnel are not available to perform project oversight. Other related services include review of contract documents; coordination of project schedules with facility and contractor staff; development, maintenance, and operation of spread sheets or other electronic documents to track facility work; and assistance with project planning. NAICS code is 541330. Multiple award Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts are anticipated, with the place of performance depen dent upon individual task order requirements. Services may be required at any of MEDCOMs medical treatment facilities throughout the Continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. All interested SBA Hub-Zone certified, SBA 8A certified, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business contractors should notify this office in writing by email or fax by 4:30 PM Mobile local time on November 14, 2005. Responses should include (1) Identification of the company as either a SBA Hub-Zone Certifi ed or SBA 8A certified or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, and (2) Past Experience - describe completed projects that are similar in scope to the stated requirements, the percentage of self-performed work, and the performance rating for the w ork. NOTE: If qualified SBA Hub-Zone certified or SBA 8A certified or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business contractors do not respond, these planned contract actions will be converted to a full and open competition.
