Description

The principle components of this Request For Quotations (RFQ) include: Manufacture and mounting of a flatbed water tank unit by a company that is a current maker of flatbed water tanks. A brochure and specifications sheet(s) shall be furnished by the offeror with their price quotation. The flatbed water tank and accessories/components described in the Statement of Work are to be mounted by the vendor on a Government-furnished, 2005 Freightliner flatbed truck that is a Series MM1120649 with 64,000lb GVWR. The front GAWR is 18,000lb and the rear GAWR is 23,000lb each axle. The flatbed water tank shall have a capacity of 1500 gallons of water and shall meet all requirements. The Government will deliver the truck to the vendor within 14 calendar days of notification of award of the purchase order. The truck and the installed flatbed water tank shall be available for inspection and pick up by Government personnel within 60 calendar days after the truck is delivered to the vendor. The Request for Quotations package will be available on or around November 14, 2005. Offers are due in the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana 59101-1362, no later than Close of Business on December 14, 2005.There is no charge for the first copy of the Request For Quotations; additional copies may be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 per set. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. A complete RFQ package in hard copy will be mailed upon request. To request a hard copy of the RFQ, vendors must fax a written request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Hart BlackEagle. All requests must include vendor's name, address, phone/fax number, Federal tax Identification Number and their Dun and Bradstreet Number. NOTE 1: Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in Central Contractor Registration. Contractors may register at http://www.ccr.gov. NOTE 2: Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitted a quotations, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online. All Representations and Certifications which used to appear in Section K are now located online. To complete your online Representations and Certifications (ORCA), contractors must go to http://orca.bpn.gov.
