- Description
- FISC Norfolk Philadelphia Division intends to solicit on a sole source commercial items basis per FAR part 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR part 13.5 with Myraid Genetic Laboratories of Salt Lake City, Utah, for Single and Multiple Site BRAC Analysis and Comprehensive BRAC Analysis in support of the National Naval Medical Center Bethesda, MD. The estimated annual testing requirement for the base year is 24 Single Site BRAC Analysis tests, 12 Multiple Site 3 Analysis and 28 Comprehensive BRAC Analysis tests per year. The estimated period of performance will consist of nine months starting 1 Jan 06 through 30 Sept 05 and will include an option for one additional performance year. A firm fixed price IDIQ purchase order is the expected result from this acquisition effort. The NACIS code for this effort is 541380. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Clinger Cohen act, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A copy of the RFQ will be posted upon its release on the NECO website @ www.neco.navy.mil.
