- Description
- The purpose of this acquisition is to procure supplies for which the Government does not own specificiations or drawings to permit full and open competition. The requirement is for Sight Glasses. The quantity is 16 sight glasses ( 8 sets) . The Government intends to procure from the manufacturer Tyco Valves and Control, Marine Division, in accordance with Yarway Drawing 024-021755 Rev K under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, and under an approved Justification &Approval. The supplies will be used for new ship construction. Firms that can recognize and produce the required item are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to compeitition, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the descretion of the Government NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (03-MAY-2005).
