The Inspector General Training Institute is a training facility supported and overseen for the Inspector General community by the President’s and the Executive Councils on Integrity and Efficiency (PCIE/ECIE). The Institute provides training in the areas of audits, investigations, leadership and management to all employees of the Inspectors General throughout the Federal Government. The United Stated Postal Service Office of Inspector General (USPS-OIG) is an independent Federal law enforcement agency within the United States Postal Service. In support of the Institute, USPS-OIG intends to award an umbrella contract to a qualified and accredited college or university to assist the Institute by providing technical assistance and expertise in three main areas: curriculum review; curriculum development; and instructional support, including providing teaching staff for courses prepared under contract for the Institute, for entry-level, mid-level and senior staff within the IG community. Training under the contract will be offered to employees throughout the IG community. Training may be conducted as part of integrated courses or as stand-alone sessions. Any and all accredited colleges and universities within a 30-mile radius of the Institute are eligible to submit offers for this statement of work. When appropriate, the supplier shall award college credits to students who successfully complete the courses.
