Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the purchase of Cesium Frequency Standard-CSIII Model 4310B, includes 2 yr. electrical and 12 yr. tube warranty, Standard Performance AC and 48V DC input (9 each); XLi SAASM 1U GPS Receiver, Product no. 602-HAE-SAASM-100 (5 each); XLi-1, 5, 10 MHz Sinewave, Product No. 86-8008, XLi: Plug-In Options; 1, 5, 10 MHz Sinewave (5 each); 56K Data Rate and Distribution System; Disciplined Oscillators: Fault Monitor CPU, Product no. 560-5301 (1 each); 56K Data Rate and Distribution System: Passive Bus Input Interface: Telecommunications Interface, Product No. 560-5153 (1 each); 56K Data Rate and Distribution System: Telecommunications Submodels:AMI Output ? 1.544 MHz, 2.048MHz; Product no. 560-5197 (6 each); 56K Data Rate and Distribution System; Input/Output Circuit Boards Hex Options: BNC Connectors, Product no. 560-5141-1 (1 each); 56K Data Rate and Distribution System: Fiber Optics: (ST Connectors): Input/Output, Product no. 560-5143-1 (1 each); 56K Data Rate and Distribution System; Fiber Optics: (ST Connectors): Quad Fiber Transmitter, Product No. 560-5145 (1 each); 150 foot (45m) Extended cable, Product no. 340-150-5 (5 each); Network Interface Card, Product no. 560-5302 (1 each); N.8 Frequency Synthesizer Module, Product no. 560-5303 (1 each); and MTIE Card, Product no. 560-5311-2 (1 each) to Symmetricom, Inc., 2300 Orchard Parkway, San Jose, CA 95131-1017. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Symmetricom, Inc. is the manufacturer and sole distributor of the Cesium Frequency Standard-CSIII Model 4310B, XLi SAASM 1U GPS Receiver, Product no. 602-HAE-SAASM-100; and XLi-1, 5, 10 MHz Sinewave. Only one award will be made for the purchase of all of the items specified. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
