Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for a Small Business within 120 miles of McClellan CA, and is advertised under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 561720, with a size standard of $14 million. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested as follows: 0001 Custodial Services 12 MO $______ 0002 Annual Carpet Cleaning 1 JB $______ 0003 Window Cleaning 1 JB $______ 0004 Annual Surface Cleaning IAW SOW below 1 JB $______ 0005 Over & above unscheduled Work 1 JB $______ IMPORTANT: This is a request for information, quotes furnished are not offers. This request does not commit the Government to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of the submission of this quotation or to contract for supplies or services. EQUIVALENT RATE FOR FEDERAL HIRES: (For comparison purposes only) Janitor Wage Grade WG-3566-02 Step 2 $11.68 per hour contractor is required to register in Central Contractor Registration prior to award of any contract or order. Registration is available ?on line? www.ccr.gov SCOPE OF SERVICES: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to complete the following work. a. Custodial service for Air Force Real Property Agency McClellan located at 3411 Olson Street (Building 10). Trash and debris will be removed and disposed of in the AFRPA dumpster located outside the east end of building 10. b. Vacuum all carpeted areas of building 10 -- shaded area of basement, first and second floor once a week and the unshaded area of the basement once a month. c. Sweep and mop floors in both east and west entrances and stairwells in east, center, and west ends of all three floors of building 10 once a week. Top of stairwell handrails and posts will be cleaned weekly. d. Empty and dispose of all trash and replace with new trashcan liners once a week. The contractor will provide and replace trash bags for building 10 once a week. Contractor will empty all trash receptacles and ash tray around exterior of building 10 weekly. The unshaded area basement of building 10 will require trash removal once a month. e. In Building 10, empty all paper recycling bins, shredders and discarded cardboard once a week and deposit in marked recycling dumpster located at the east side of building. f. Contractor will clean restrooms in building 10 (First and Second Floors) Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Sinks, countertops, toilet bowls, urinals shall be brushed, cleaned and sanitized. Floors shall be swept, mopped and rinsed using appropriate cleaners. Restrooms will be placarded warning occupants of unsafe surface conditions. Toilet seat covers, soap and paper towel dispensers shall be restocked. g. Clean and remove water stains from the inside and outside glass surfaces of the southeast and southwest entry weekly. h. Clean and remove water stains on first and second story windows of building 10 inside and out once a year. i. Carpeting shall be cleaned once a year for building 10 utilizing bonnet clean carpet to include edge and corner brushing and vacuuming. Carpet spot treatment may be required. j. Additional cleaning requirements for all 3 floors may include cleaning of ventilation ceiling vent covers (195). Surface clean all door trim and jam, windowsills, fluorescent light fixture enclosures and lenses, Venetian blinds, storage cabinet tops and chair rails. k. When requested by facility manager or Contracting Officer, cleaning of rubber floor surfaces at southeast and southwest entrances and restrooms with commercial floor strippers. l. Contractor will provide all hand soap, cleaning solutions, paper products, trash liners and supplies necessary to complete the work. m. A copy of the Statement of Work and weekly checklist will be posted in building 10. At the completion of each scheduled maintenance visit (prior to departure), the person performing the service will initial completed tasks on the checklist. 2.
