Description

The US Geological Survey intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Dr. Michael MacWillams of San Francisco, CA for performance of a series of numerical simulations using the UnTRIM hydrodynamic model to provide conditions in San Pablo Bay in California for evaluation of the impact of an Aquatic Transfer Facility proposed by the US Army Corps of Engineers in San Pablo Bay, CA. This source possesses unique knowledge and capabilities required to perform this service. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Services will be performed at the contractor's site. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement to the Contracting Officer no later than the identified response date.
