Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) Scott AFB, IL will procure support to the government-managed DECC Mechanicsburg OST in the delivery of information technology services to include but not limited to the day-to-day operation of the data center?s interaction with its end-user customers, the proactive monitoring of systems and applications, detailed tracking of problems and incidents, quick response to problems, and quick restoration of service in the event of a service-disruption problem. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19 Subpart 8 the Government intends for this acquisition to be offered for competition limited to 8(a) concerns. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for 8(a) Program Participants on the Small Business Administration (SBA) list of Qualified 8(a) Small Business Concerns. The period of performance will be a base period of 1 March 2006 through 28 February 2007 with four (4) 1 year options. The National American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541519. The solicitation and all related documents will be posted on the DITCO Home Page, Contracting Opportunities at https://www.ditco.disa.mil/dcop/Public/ASP/dcop.asp. Vendors are responsible for downloading the solicitation and all related documents to include Amendments to the solicitation, these documents shall be referenced in the proposal. Proposal due date is Monday, 28 Nov 2005. Questions are due no later than 10:00, Central time, Monday, 14 November 2005. All questions regarding this procurement shall be submitted in writing via e-mail. All responsible and eligible sources may submit a proposal for consideration. Solicitation documents will be attached to this posting no later than Monday, 7 November 2005.
