Description

J-- The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment, and materials to perform maintenance and overhaul of the Servo Roll Trim, applicable to the UH-60 helicopter. Input NSN and P/N: 1680-01-242-2067/70400-02260-120. Output NSN and P/N: 1680-01-242-2067/70400-02260-120. The minimum quantity is 25 each. The maximum quantity is 1560 each, applicable to the UH-60 aircraft. The maximum quantity includes an estimated 20% quantity of 260 each for Foreign Military Sales. T he maintenance and overhaul shall be in accordance with the manufacturers blueprints/production drawings and specifications. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisf y the agency requirement. The approved sources are Kearfott Guidance and Navigation Corporation (cage: 05088) and Sikorsky Aircraft Corp (cage: 78286). Required delivery shall be FOB Origin to New Cumberland, PA, beginning 90 days after receipt of assets . Technical data is not available to support this acquisition on a competitive basis. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate s Shopping List (CASL) procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following web site: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Source approval requests may be submitted to: Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, Buildi ng 5309, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. No telephone requests for solicitation will be accepted. Request for solicitation will be by facsimile, email or mail only. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agenc y. Proposals will only be accepted by mail. No datafax or emails will be accepted. Award will not be withheld pending approval of a new source(s). This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
