Description

The Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Public Health Emergency Preparedness, Office of Research and Development Coordination intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with BioPort Corporation under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary services and supplies, to provide up to 5 million doses of the Licensed Anthrax Vaccine Adsorbed (BioThraxTM) in 5mL multi-dose vials to be delivered to the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) within 24 months of the contract award date. In support of this effort, the contractor shall provide storage for the product, and perform quality control and quality assurance monitoring once the product is delivered to the SNS through the end of the contract or expiration of the product, which ever comes first. The award of this contract is contingent upon the availability of fiscal year 05 funds authorized by the Project Bioshield Act of 2004.
