Description
MSHA is seeking a vendor that can provide the requirement listed below. This is a service agreement that requires support and design of custom DM Release Script; Hummingbird DM5 Support; Cardiff v8.1 support; Custom Scan Application. A vendor needs to be a expert in VB.net & Kofax Imaging Controls; Cardiff Certified as well as Hummingbird knowledgeable; has at least a 5yr minimum requirement of Oracle. Troubleshoots and resolves issues relative to unique data imaging (which will help in mitigating a learning curve.) Will also need to serve as Project Manager which includes issue tracking; resource allocation; study of work (when needed) for subsequent phases; redesign/modify system as required; liaison for MSHA & vendors (mitigates MSHA hours spent with vendors to resolve software, hardware, etc.,) issues. The Accident Data Interpretation Branch is responsible for handling and processing the reporting requirements of operators and contractors of the mining community. Data reported by operators of mining establishments concerning work injuries are summarized by work location, accident classification, part of body injured, nature of injury, occupation, and coal or metal/nonmetal, etc. Related information on employment, work time, and operating activity is also handled by this office. Information collected is used to evaluate and develop mine safety and health standards and programs which benefit the industry.
