Description
The United States Property and Fiscal Office for Florida intends to award a sole source contract for logistics and maintenance services for the Ballistic Missile Range Safety Technology (BMRST) program, systems B-2 and B-3 to Space Systems Division, Honeywell Industries, Inc. located at 13350 U.S. Highway 19 North, Clearwater, FL 33764-7290. Only one source has demonstrated the capability of providing the logistics and maintenance requirements meeting specifications provided by the US Air Force. Ref erence documents are EWR 127-1 (Eastern and Western Range Safety Requirements, 31 Oct 97), IRIG 106-96 RCC (Telemetry Standards, May 96), IRIG 118 RCC (Test Methods for Telemetry Systems and Subsystems, Jun 97). This proposed contract action is for servic es for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate using other than full and open competition procedures with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (b)(1)(ii). Interested firms may identify their interest and capability by responding to this synopsis. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposal based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The maintenance and logistics s upport provided shall be compatible with the core control software system used by BMRST. BMRST uses Plantscape, a proprietary system owned by and exclusive to Honeywell. The resultant contract shall be a one year base period plus four one-year option peri ods.
