*** Correction of announcements previously issued on 10/27/05 & 10/31/05. *** The National Park Service will issue a Prospectus for a Concession Contract for merchandise, food and beverage services within Bandelier National Monument on November 4, 2005. The National Park Service will conduct a tour of the concession facilities at Bandelier National Monument on November 9, 2005. The tour will begin at 10:00 A.M. in the Administration Lobby, at Monument Headquarters located in Frijoles Canyon. Interested parties must R.S.V.P. by November 4, 2005. The Concession is located near the NPS visitor center in Frijoles Canyon and is traditionally open year-round except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years days. The Director, pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51, has determined that the existing Concessioner is not a preferred Offeror for this contract. One contract will be issued for the above listed services. The length of the new contract will be ten (10) years. Any offer, including that of the existing Concessioner, must be received by the Acting Chief, Concessions Management, National Park Service, Intermountain Region, 12795 W. Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, CO 80228 no later than seventy-five (75) days after the release of the prospectus in order to be evaluated and considered for an award of a concession contract to provide these services within Bandelier National Monument. The Prospectus will be issued November 4, 2005, for a 75-day response period under the terms described in the Prospectus, with proposals due on January 17, 2006, no later than 4:00 p.m. There is a printing cost recovery charge of $35 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $30 per copy if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service and you must include a business address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express package.
