Description
It is the Navy Exchange Service Command's (NEXCOM's) intention to award license agreements to firm(s) to renovate and operate food concessions in accordance with this contract at the locations described below. These locations are currently operated by Eurest Dining Services and will transition to the successful offerors upon award of agreements awarded based on this solicitation. NEXCOM prefers to award one license agreement for all four locations but reserves the right to make multiple awards if in the best interest of the Navy Exchange. Capodichino Air Terminal - NEXCOM prefers that a Burger King or other U. S. national branded burger concept be operated in place of the Burger King concession operated by Eurest in the air terminal. This location is scheduled to be closed in the fall of 2006 and food services likely moved to the base Galley. If this closure and relocation occurs, the successful offeror will be provided the opportunity to relocate, at its own expense, to the new food service spaces. Casual Dining Restaurant, Navy Lodge Gricignano - The concept required for this location is a U. S. national name brand casual dining restaurant. To effect a smooth transition of this location, NEXCOM prefers a contract for a TGI Friday's concept. NAS Sigonella - The concept required for this location is a U. S. national branded burger concept, but NEXCOM will also consider proposals for other concepts, including unbranded concepts. To effect a smooth transition of this location, NEXCOM would prefer to maintain the Burger King concept. NAS Sigonella, Main Exchange Food Court - NEXCOM prefers U. S. national brand chicken and Mexican concepts, preferably Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco Bell concepts. Estimated annual sales for each location is as follows: Capodichino-$450,000; Navy Lodge TGI Friday's - $1,700,000; Sigonella Burger King - $700,000; and, Sigonella Food Court - $1,200,000.
