Description
SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires guest rooms, meeting rooms, and hotel services of a qualified hotel for OCC?s 2006 Southern District Staff Conference. The preferred locations are Orlando, FL; Miami, FL; or Nashville, TN. The possible dates for Orlando are in March, April, June or July 2006. The possible dates for Miami and Nashville are in June or July 2006. The estimated maximum number of guest rooms per night is about 600. The estimated maximum number of attendees at the general sessions and lunch is about 650. The program may consist of one reception; one luncheon; a general session on three days; and up to ten concurrent sessions on one day. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Official Hotel Guide; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation at this web site around November 9, 2005. The solicitation document will contain the details of the District Staff Conference requirements, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures under the Commercial Item Test Program (FAR Subpart 13.5). All responsible vendors may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding the contract in December 2005. *****
