- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates award of a 65-month incrementally funded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the following services: 1) To continue the biennial implementation of the national school-based Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) among 9th through 12th grade high school students during the springs of 2007, 2009, and 2011. 2) To continue the biennial implementation of the school-based National Youth Tobacco Survey (NYTS) among 6th through 12th grade students in the springs of 2009 and 2011. 3) To implement one methodological study of data collection procedures among a sample of high school students during the spring of 2008. This study will: a. Assess the feasibility of web-based data collection and b. Measure the effects of data collection mode (i.e. paper and pencil vs. web-based), administration context (i.e. individual administration vs. group administration), and setting (i.e. school computer lab vs. computer outside of school) on the reporting of risk behaviors. 4) To implement a special topic survey of nutrition and physical activity during the spring of 2010. This survey will assess nutrition and physical activity behavior and behavioral determinants among 9th through 12th grade students. The date specified for receipt of proposals will be approximately 45 days after the issue date of the Request for Proposal (RFP) 2005-N-06001, which is anticipated to be issued on or about October 19, 2005. The RFP will be available only by downloading at this internet site: www.fbo.gov/ . All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration. A wage determination has not been requested since the requirement involves meaningful numbers of professional employees as defined in FAR Subpart 22.11.
