Description

This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation to obtain a contract for the repair of the ALQ-161 system components. NSN 5895-01-190-7042EW, P/N 0464014-1, First Article, 2 EA; Production Option 8 EA; Options I, II, and III, 5 EA. Delivery: 6 months ARO This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement for the Government?s consideration, by contacting Tommy Peacock, email, tommy.peacock@robins.af.mil, 478-926-7192. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requester is acceptable. The request for solicitation should contain Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Cage Code Number, and Size of Business. If no response is received by 21 November 2005, 4:00 PM EST. to the effect that comparable services are available that would be more advantageous to the Government than obtaining supplies and or services through a sole-source procurement with Eldec Corp, a sole source award will be made. LIMITED SOURCES to: Raytheon, Goleta, CA, (CAGE: 24587); STC Microwave Systems Arizona, Chandler AZ (CAGE 33025); and Herley Industries, Woburn, MA (CAGE: 32187). Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Supplies or services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, may apply. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition
