Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Intern et after solicitation issuance. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 21 November 2005; no other media will be provided. Notification of amendments will be through use of the Internet. It is the Off erors responsibility to check the Internet address provided as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments. Description of work: Construct an Equipment Maintenance Complex to include an approximately 28,000 SF Vehicle Maintenance Facility and an approximately 16,000 SF Deployment Storage Building. The Equipment Maintenance Facility will include space for a vehic le maintenance shop with a 5-ton bridge crane. Supporting facilities include construction of a replacement railroad spur, approximately 1350 in length, and approximately 23,000 square yards of vehicle hard-stand. This project requires demolition of three warehouses of approximately 27,000 SF and demolition of the existing rail spur. Options may be included in the contract. This project will be solicited and procured using a Performance-Price Trade-Off (PPT) Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with F ederal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101-1. Offerors are required to submit a price and technical proposal. Each proposal shall contain the offerors best technical proposal and best price. Price will not be scored, but will be a factor in establi shing the competitive range prior to discussions (if held) and in making the final best value determination for award. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Network Analysis will be required. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988(Public Law 100-65 6).
