Description

The Ralph H. Johnson, Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Charleston, SC (VISN 7), requires twenty-four (24) hour ambulance (emergency) services for any Department of Veterans Affairs beneficiary, regardless of race, creed, color or national origin. Contractor must be able to provide ambulances that are licensed and meet the minimum vehicle requirement as mandated by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control Regulations # 7, pertaining to ambulance service. The city limits for these services are defined as Ashley River to Cooper River and Mt. Pleasant to the Battery. The Performance Period will be effective for one (1) year from date of award with four (4) ? One (1) Year Options to renew. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 621910 with a standard size of $6 million. The solicitation will be issued on or about November 21, 2005. Requests for hardcopy of the solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. FAX requests will be accepted at 478-274-5609. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available at the URL addresses. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
