- THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION AND NO SEPARATE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. This procurement shall be solicited using Simplified Acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13.5 and 12.6 Commercial Services. The NAICS code is 323110. The National Institutes of Health Pharmacy Department has a requirement to obtain labels to print inpatients orders and outpatient prescriptions. The contractor shall provide the following label requirements: Label Requirements for MIS6 and MIS 7: Label must be on a 3.5 inch spool with a 3 inch diameter; Label must have a self stick adhesive; Label paper stock must be appropriate quality for use on prescription vials, bottles, IV bags; Labels must be compatible with a Zebra Z4M printer; these labels will be used in a hospital pharmacy providing services to both in/out patients. They will be attached to a variety of plastic/glass containers containing solid and liquid medications. They will be attached to medication containers/bags that will be stored at -70 degrees C. Therefore, labels supplied must be able to remain affixed to container at this temperature range (-70 degrees C to room temperature). The adhesive used on these labels must not leach thru plastic/glass medication bottles and IV bags. The adhesive must be in accordance with the FDA 175.105 regulations, which can be found at: http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfcfr/CFRSearch.cfm?CFRPart=175 The specifications for the rolls are 3? core and 8? outside diameter, 800 labels per roll. Color ? Light Blue, MIS6 will have One Horizontal Perforation and One Vertical Face Slit, MIS 7 will have one Horizontal Perforation. Delivery schedule: 225 rolls of MIS6's and 180 rolls of MIS7's to be delivered quarterly. Samples are available; please email amcgee@cc.nih.gov to request a sample. Parties responding to this solicitation may submit their offer in accordance with their standard commercial practices (e.g. on company letterhead, formal quote form, etc) but must include the following information: 1) company?s complete mailing and remittance addresses 2) discounts for prompt payment if applicable; 3) Dun & Bradstreet number; 4) Taxpayer ID number; 5) Catalog or Published Price Listing applicable to the service; 6) Offerors must meet specifications as noted in the synopsis. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications/Commercial Items with their offer. Note: Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov). The Government intends to make a single award based on the lowest price technical accepted offeror to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation, and is the most advantageous to the Government. The Government reserves the right to make an award to that offeror whose quotation provides the best overall value to the Government.
