Description
The Army Field Support Command is conducting a Sources Sought/Market Survey for a contemplated contract for the following mortar ignition cartridges: 1) M702 Ignition Cartridge for M888, M720/M768, and M769 60mm Mortars, NSN: 1310-01-342-6874, P/N: 9280553; 2) M752A1 Ignition Cartridge for M853A1 and M816 81mm Mortars, NSN: 1315- 01-290-4748, P/N: 9294752; 3) M299 Ignition Cartridge for M821, M889 and M879 81mm Mortars, NSN: 1315-01-050-8883; and 4) M1020 Ignition Cartridge for M934, M933, M930, M983, M931 and M929 120mm Mortars, NSN: 1315-01-465-5969. Estimated quantities and monthly delivery rates for the base year for each item is as follows: 1) M702, base quantity estimated 134,160 each, monthly delivery rate 30,000 each; 2) M752A1, base quantity estimated 34,320 each, monthly delivery rate 20,000 each; 3) M299, base qua ntity 162,240 each, monthly delivery rate 30,000 each; 4) M1020, base quantity 90,243 each, monthly delivery rate 20,000 each. This survey is being conducted to evaluate the production capability for the subject items. A technical data package will be pr ovided, upon request, to assist respondents in developing their capability statements. Potential respondents are advised that this requirement contains technical data as defined by 22 CFR Section 120.10 and bears a Distribution D distribution statement. A certified DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Data Agreement, or your certification number must be furnished with your request for the TDP. Send request for TDP to Cheryl.Nielsen@us.army.mil. Please include with your request your complete mailing address and POC name, phone number and email address. TDP will be issued via U.S. mail unless provided with your request is authorization to send via Federal Express and your Federal Express Account Number. A respondent to this market survey should be able to sh ow that they have the technical capability, manufacturing capacity, certification to receive export-controlled technical data (as applicable), and good past performance in production of Artillery/Mortar rounds and system management, as indicators of existi ng qualifications. Interested companies who have the necessary capabilities should respond by providing the following information; a summary of your companys capabilities; description of facilities, personnel, and manufacturing capabilities and experien ces and how they directly relate to the planned procurement; estimated minimum and maximum monthly production quantities; estimated prices; and the minimum procurement quantity (MPQ) required for production. A respondent should state if they have made thi s item in the past. If a respondent does not currently have complete relevant resources (facilities, equipment, technical, personnel, etc.) available, the respondent must identify their needs and be able to specifically demonstrate his ability to obtain t hose resources in a timely fashion. If a respondent chooses to utilize the services of sub-tier vendors or subcontractors, those vendors or subcontractors must also meet these criteria. It is anticipated that a 5-yr (base plus 4 option years for each ite m) Firm Fixed Price contract on an all or none basis will be awarded. Best Value criteria will be used to evaluate and select the awardee.
