- THIS IS A NOTICE FOR A DRAFT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP). NO PROPOSAL SUBMISSION IS REQUIRED - The Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Secretary, Office of Public Health Emergency Preparedness, Office of Research and Development Coordination (ORDC), has developed a draft project requirement for the acquisition of Modified Vaccinia Ankara (MVA) Vaccine for the Strategic National Stockpile. The draft RFP is currently available electronically through the FedBizOpps. Please note that proposals are not being solicited at this time. With this announcement, ORDC is soliciting comments and recommendations on the draft project requirement in order to determine the level of interest and assure that the requirements in the document will meet the intent of the solicitation. Please submit comments or questions to Brenda Brooks, Contracting Officer, using the Response Guidelines provided in the Announcement, by May 31, 2005. All comments received by this date will be fully considered in preparation of the final Request for Proposal document. (On the 3rd page of the Announcement of draft RFP, Friday, May 31, 2005 should be corrected to read: Tuesday, May 31, 2005.) However, the Government reserves the right to alter the final solicitation as it deems appropriate. Prospective Offerors are cautioned not to rely on the information provided in the draft project requirement as being the same or similar to the information that will ultimately be issued as the formal Request for Proposal. Please note that the Government will not provide individual responses to questions/inquiries. The Government does not intend to award a contract as a result of this draft solicitation.
