Description

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) seeks to award a Fixed Price Type Contract to acquire on-site Public Search Facility Library Support Services. These services will focus on performing the duties associated with the maintenance of paper and microfilm files. The period of performance for this requirement is anticipated to be for a base year and two additional one-year options periods. Additionally, the successful Offeror has the opportunity to earn up to two additional award term years depending on contract performance. The requirement is anticipated to be an 8a Competitive award North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 519120 (Libraries and Archives). Further instruction will follow in the Request for Proposal (RFP). A RFP will be made available on the Internet at http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/ac/comp/proc/currproj.htm on or about November 28, 2005. Interested parties are responsible for checking the website regularly for release of the RFP and for other procurement-related documents. Since all procurement-related documents will be released via the Internet, a mailing list and list of interested vendors will not be available. Interested firms must respond to the RFP in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS PROCUREMENT WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED AT THIS TIME.
