- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the following item: Services, non-personal: Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation and supervision necessary to provide: REPAIR EXISTING SIEMENS POWER CIRCUIT BREAKERS IN FACLITY 2305. 1) Repair 7 existing low-voltage Siemens-Allis Power Circuit Breakers in Facility 2305. a) Type: LA 1600-B b) Frame Size: 1600A c) Frequency: 60Hz d) Serial Number: S-68267A-3 e) Date of Manufacture: December 1983 f) Current: 1600A 2) The following circuit breakers are to be repaired. a) Main Breaker Section A b) Fire Pump #1 Carriage Breaker. c) Fire Pump #2 Carriage Breaker. d) Fire Pump #3 Carriage Breaker. e) Fire Pump #4 Carriage Breaker. f) Tie Breaker. g) Main Breaker Section B 3) The contractor shall remove and disassemble all circuit breakers. 4) The contractor shall clean and lubricate all internal contact points and mechanisms of the circuit breakers. 5) The contractor shall test/repair all associated electrical within the switchgear structure. 6) After repairs have been completed, the contractor shall reassemble, reinstall and conduct operational tests of all circuit breakers and associated switchgear. 7) The contractor shall perform those tests in accordance with NETA 2001, Maintenance Testing Specifications, Section 7.6.1.2 Circuit Breakers, Air, Low-Voltage Power. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synposis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) F4D3D95290A600. Submit written offers only, oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06 and DFARS Change Notice 20040625. North American Industrial Classification Standard 811310, Size Standard, $6,000,000.00, applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination for delivery: Facility 2305, Vandenberg AFB CA 93437 .The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated on price related factors only. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal.
