- The Information Technology, E-Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center-West (ITEC4-W), Fort Huachuca, Arizona is providing this notification to announce the upcoming solicitation for training support for the Thunderbird University of the 11th Signa l Brigade at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. The purpose of the Thunderbird University is to provided soldiers with Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) equipment and software training they need in order for them to successfully provide C4 support and accomplish the brigade s mission. The contractor shall provide all Information Technology (IT) training support services on state-of-the-art and appropriate legacy IT and communications hardware, software, and networking infrastructure. The key function is to train students o n the integration of COTS and tactical equipment through the Tactical Network Nodal (TNN) interface. The anticipated period of performance is a base period plus four option years commencing on March 1, 2006. The contract type intended is an Indefinite De livery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The Government intends on applying the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 611420, 100% small business size standard $21 million, to this acquisition. This acquisition will be set aside for small business. The solicitation may be issued on or after 28 November 2005. The due date for proposal submission will be 30 days from issuance of the solicitation. Comments may be submitted to Maura C.
