THIS IS AN AMENDMENT TO USA-SNOTE-051107-002 The PEO-CS/CSS Project Manager- Future Tactical Systems is conducting a Tactical Vehicle Armor Technology Day at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mt. Clemens, Michigan, Vandenburg Conference Center, Bldg. 328. Date: 29 November 2005 Sign-in: 0730 to 0800 Unclassified Session: 0800 to 1200 Lunch: 1200-1300 (Lunch will be provided as part of the registration fee) Classified Session: 1300-1600 Pre-registration is required. Registration forms are due by 18 November 2005. Proper identification (drivers license or passport) will be required to enter Selfridge ANGB and again if attending the classified session. The PM-Future Tactical Systems will sponsor a presentation to industry that describes the Armys future plans for Armor Protection of the US Armys fleet of tactical vehicles. The intent of the Tactical Vehicle LTAS Industry Day is to provide industry with an understanding of emerging armor technology requirements and opportunities. The data presented will include planned concepts and approaches in the application of structural mounting surfaces and attachment points on Light, Medium, and Heavy Tactical ve hicles to carry protective armor shielding. The presentation will include the strategy and process for managing information and potential areas that will be open for industry participation. Attendees will be given guidance as to how they may submit informa tion and samples of their products or systems of products. The morning session will include a schedule of planned events and an opportunity to ask questions. Classified information will be presented in briefing format during the afternoon session. Given the classified nature of the afternoon session, attendance will be limited to entities and personnel that possess appropriate security clearances. The afternoon session will require attendees to have a valid Secret personnel security clearance and the company they are employed by must have a Facility Security Clearance at the Secret Level on file with the Defense Security Service, POCs are listed below. Foreign Nationals may attend the unclassified portion only. Foreign Nationals must have valid i dentification and a vist request through their embassy to attend the unclassified portion of the event. There will not be a hard copy distribution of the classified briefing material. Recording of classified material(s) will not be allowed. Electronic devices such as Cell phones and recorders are prohibited in the afternoon session. E-mail management syste ms such as Blackberry or Blueberry transmitters and personal computers will not be permitted into the afternoon briefing location. The Government will not accept any data or product samples during the Industry Day event.. Future Government requests for data or samples of material are not to be construed as creating any obligation on the part of the US Government to purchase or otherw ise utilize your data or product samples in any way.
