Description
The Army Reserve Contracting Center (ARCC) will be issuing a solicitation for the operation of the Regional Training Sites Medical Program (RTS-MED). In order for private industry to better understand the requirement, the ARCC will host an Industry Day on 30 November 2005 for all interested and qualified contractors. Originally designed to support Combat Support Hospitals, Forward Surgical Teams and Dental Units, RTS-MED now provides training and maintenance services to all Adaptive Medical Incremen ts (AMI), as well as to sister services Active, Guard and Reserve. RTS-MED provides a setting for training, facilitating, integrating and synchronizing all functional areas of the Medical Battlefield Operating Systems (BOS). The Primary training sites for the RTS-Med Program are Fort Gordon, GA; Camp Parks, CA, Fort McCoy, WI and Fort Dix, NJ. Training and maintenance will be conducted on site and through Mobile Training Teams and Mobile Medical Maintenance Assistance Support Teams. Units training at Joi nt Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, LA, will be supported by RTS-MED, Fort McCoy. Training may be conducted outside continental United States (OCONUS.) Approximately 35,000 Soldiers will be trained annually. The resulting contract will be a Cost P lus Award Fee (CPAF) contract with a one-month phase-in, eleven-month base period and four one-year options periods. Industry Day will provide an overall view of the project and the evaluation factors that will be utilized in the source selection process . Interested contractors may contact the ARCC via email to annemarie.walsh@dix.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted and the information will not be made available on any website. Emails shall contain business name, address, size, telephone & fa x numbers, email address and point of contact. Once the request is received, a copy of the draft Statement of Objectives (SOO) and the time and location will be sent to those firms expressing interest in attending Industry Day. Requests must be submitted by COB 23 November 2005.
