- N00421-06-T-0023 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation 7 each IBM Ultrium Tape Autoloaders, and 7 each Rackmount kits This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00421- 06-T-0023 issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This requirement is being synopsized as a full and open competitive acquisition under the North American Industry Classification System code 443120; the small business standard is 500 employees. Any concern submitting a bid or offer in its own name that proposes to furnish an end product that it did not manufacture shall ensure that the requirements of FAR 19.102 are met and shall provide verification of compliance as a part of their quote. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.ccr.gov/vendor.cfm. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD has a requirement to procure 7 each IBM Ultrium Tape Autoloaders attached to Windows System, and 7 each Rackmount kits with 2.7m 125v power cord. The quotation shall include Free On Board (f.o.b.) Destination shipping terms. Deliveries shall occur no later than 30 days after receipt of order. Delivery will be to: Mr. Ron Kocka, E-2C ITT, Bldg 2044, 47383 Tate Rd., Patuxent River, Md. 20670. Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this synopsis/solicitation. Therefore, it is incumbent on the offeror to provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment of the proposal. The clause at 52-211-6, Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52-212-1, Instructions to offerors-Commercial Items, (Jan 2005) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52-212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies to this acquisition. The Government will award in accordance with FAR part 13 on a lowest priced - technically acceptable basis. The offeror shall provide backup information verifying the price offered; e.g. a copy of current catalog, invoices for the same equipment, etc. Each offeror shall list three contracts along with the POCs within the last five years. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial (Mar 2005) with its quote. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (Oct 2003) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition.
