Description
NAICS Code: 611710 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) in Washington, DC intends to award a Purchase Order to the University of Texas - Pan American (UTPA) under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this procurement is to provide a Diamond conference sponsorship support for the third Minority Serving Institutions Research Partnership Conference. This conference is to be held from February 2-4, 2006, in Edinburg, Texas. Participation in the conference includes: Recognition of EPA as one of the prime Sponsors of the Premier Conference Event; Recognition of EPA as Sponsor on the Conference Web Page, as well as advertisement in Marketing Materials and Printed Publications; Press recognition through the conference media coverage and follow-up coverage; Two page advertisement in the 3rd MSI Research Partnerships Conference program; Full Conference Registration for 30 employees or guests; Sponsorship Recognition Plaque and Logo on all Conference related publication materials; and Opportunity for EPA staff to serve on Conference Steering Committee. Diamond sponsorship also includes the following access to the Delegate Database: Unlimited access to the complete list of conference participants; and unlimited access to student and faculty resume database, before/during/after Conference. Diamond sponsorship also includes the following Career and Business Expo: Five VIP Expo exhibit spaces complete with electrical and telephone connections as well as a banner display in the exhibit hall; Two additional exhibit spaces complete with electrical and telephone connections (transferable to organizations of Sponsor choice); and On-campus accommodations to conduct private employment interviews prior to and during Expo. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 611710. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received by the response date of this announcement may be considered. Responses to posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
